A little while back I had the idea of dressing Gunma-chan in various outfits, especially those of other local mascots or Yurukyara. This is Gunma-chan wearing the outfit of everyone’s favorite slightly creepy mascot from Nara, Sento-kun. What do you think? And  check it out, an animated .gif! It’s a  simple one, but I’m happy with it 🙂 Should I do more?

Everyone around here knows how much I love Gunma-chan (seriously, do a google search and see how many links to my blog you’ll find.) A friend of mine passed along this announcement for a Gunma-chan outfit design contest! The idea is to make a cute outfit for promoting Gunma. My favorite version is of course superhero Gunma-chan, but I don’t think that’s the best for people who don’t really know Gunma.

I need your help, people! What costume should I put our little horsey mascot in? What should he wear? I can’t decide, but if you have any ideas please let me know!
