Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! Caught  this one in Ueno Station today in Tokyo. It’s not misspelled or grammatically incorrect, just oddly poetic–my favorite!

We’re spending the weekend in Tokyo to see some friends and meet with some contacts in the Animation Industry, some of whom had originally planned to be here for Tokyo Anime Fair this weekend, but decided to go ahead with their trips anyway despite the cancellation.

We also had a birthday party tonight for a dear friend that involved delicious food, Karaoke in several languages, and lots of fun! A pretty great weekend so far, and it’s only Friday! What are your plans for the weekend?

This strikes me as “found poetry.” I love things like this. Thanks for the frequent updates lately. I don’t always comment, but I always read them!

Great picture! It will be interesting to hear what things are like in Tokyo. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on with the blackouts there ready for my own trip. Hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be having a mini adventure in Kyoto this weekend… 🙂

I love oddly poetic Engrish, so much better than the usual mistakes.
The one about the earphones really sounds like poetry.
    Thanks for sharing.

Hey, that’s pretty good. Whoever wrote that is missing his or her true calling.

I love these adverts. There’s actually a site where you can see a whole bunch of them:
