The bad news is that 2 of my friends have been hit by cars while riding their bicycles in the past week. The past week!

The good news is that they both walked away from the accidents without much more than bruises. Still, apparently it’s gaijin-hunting season out there! I’m a pretty cautious cyclist (read: slow) but I’ll still be sure to be extra careful.

With that in mind, this sign seemed quite appropriate on my way home today. I know it’s supposed to imply that speeding on your bicycle might cause pedestrian accidents, but to me, it looks like that guy on the right is dancing while his insides explode. Or like he’s flying towards the bicyclist while wearing a red hedgehog!

What non-standard interpretation do you see?
